Tiny Books
From scrap to story — without a single word

Abstract Art, 2020
recycled palette paper, canvas, and found materials
Abstract Art is a reflection on the often-overlooked by-products of the creative process. During painting, palette paper—used for mixing colours—accumulates layers of expressive, unintentional beauty. Rather than discarding these colourful remnants, Nichole reclaims them, transforming waste into something considered and meaningful.
This piece is made from bound recycled palette paper, with its cover and presentation box crafted from sections of a painted study. Each element celebrates spontaneity, texture, and the art found in process itself.

The Metamorphosis Pages, 2020
upcycled book and found materials
Cut from a discarded butterfly book, this tiny volume traces the quiet poetry of transformation — from caterpillar to chrysalis to winged flight.
A miniature meditation on change, emergence, and the beauty of in-between stages.

Migration, 2020
upcycled used books and chiyogami
Crafted from salvaged bird book pages and black-and-gold chiyogami, Migration honours movement, instinct, and the call to something new.
A delicate object about letting go, flying forward, and trusting the invisible pull of change.
